Contract Specialist

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Contract Specialist is to develop and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Consultant Agreements and Subcontract Agreements in both government and commercial settings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

PRIMARY:

• Assess contract terms, prices, and performance requirements for proposal submission conformity
• Ensure company is compliant with legal requirements and government regulations
• Support all aspects of contract management including drafting subcontract agreements, negotiations, cost and price analysis, contract administration, and closeout of contracts/subcontracts.

SECONDARY:

• Maintain and manage the database
• Other administrative and analytical duties as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:  NA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BS degree or equivalent of at least 10 years of experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee will likely be placed in an office.  The work environment characteristics are representative of those of an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation.  Able to work sitting or standing at desk and operate a computer via standard input devices such as using a keyboard and reading information on a monitor.
