SOFTWARE ENGINEER

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

JDM Solutions is looking for experienced engineer to serve as the Automation Lead for a C4 development group. The candidate will support a variety of functions, to include sensor/information management, data correlation and fusion, track management, target type/classification, threat evaluation, target prioritization, weapons assignment and damage assessment. The majority of the work will be on-site at Redstone Arsenal in a classified lab environment.

Responsibilities and Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of automated C4 system software functions such as sensor/information management, data correlation and fusion, track management, target type/classification, threat evaluation, target prioritization, weapons assignment, damage assessment
• Ability to fully characterize main computer hardware, software, HMI, and peripherals
• Accurately define and characterize GUIs for each system operator roles.
• Bachelors in Engineering required, Masters desired

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: NA

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BS degree in an engineering degree at least 17 years of experience. MS desired (with 12 years minimum experience)
• Active Secret clearance required, active TS with SCI eligibility desired, active TS/SCI preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee will likely be placed in an office. The work environment characteristics are representative of those of an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at desk and operate a computer via standard input devices such as using a keyboard and reading information on a monitor.
